Navy Ship and Crew Help Out on Duck Boat Rescue

Rescue efforts came from the Navy as well on Wednesday, July 8, 2010 when a tour boat capsized in the Delaware River off Penn’s Landing in Philadelphia, Pa. The “Ride the Ducks” boat stalled in the river after an engine fire when it was hit by a barge. 37 passengers and crew were about the duck boat when it was hit. Two Hungarian tourists drowned in the accident.
