John Taus, executive chef at The Corner, sent along a nifty little flyer for his upcoming beer dinner on April 20 with Casey Hughes of Flying Fish. For $55, diners can expect five courses of Taus' genius infused with Hughes' hoppy, boozy influence, which will make everyone fat and happy. Seating will take place between 5 P.M. and 8 P.M.
Courses are as follows:
1st: Cheddar beignets, beer sauce paired with Farmhouse Summer Ale
2nd: Triple-washed watercress salad, water radish, cashew, Exit 4 vinaigrette and pecorino cheese, paired with Exit 4
3rd: Crab and beer griddle cakes, sweet chili puree, paired with HopFish IPA
4th: Dubbel-brined pork chop, beer and hot dog puree, great northern beans, paired with Abbey Dubbel
5th Course: Black barley custard, oat cookie, malt hastrique, hop foam, paired with Bourbon Barrel-Aged Exit 13 Chocolate Stout
