Lawmakers Take Sides on Pa. Budget Priorities

The Republican-controlled Pa. State House prepared to vote on Monday on its proposed budget for the fiscal year. The plan is similar to the spending priorities laid out earlier this year, by Gov. Tom Corbett. Democrats in the State House Senate called the Republican budget decisions “cowardly” and challenged the notion it calls for shared sacrifice across the Commonwealth.
