Driver, Horse Injured in Carriage Crash

A driver is in serious condition tonight in a horse and carriage crash in the heart of Old City Philadelphia. Police say the driver lost control of the horse drawn carriage as it approached a red light at third and Callowhill on Friday. The carriage struck two cars before flipping on its side.The driver was thrown into the street and suffered serious injuries.The driver and the horse are expected to make a full recovery.
