Valentina joined the stations in September 2026. She is passionate about connecting with people and telling meaningful stories that inform, inspire, and empower communities. Whether she is bringing attention to an important issue, keeping viewers informed, or helping someone feel heard, Valentina is committed to giving people a voice and ensuring their stories are told with honesty, compassion, and purpose.

Valentina came to Philadelphia from Phoenix, Arizona, where she served as a reporter and multimedia journalist for Telemundo Phoenix (KTAZ) and Telemundo Tucson (KHRR). Prior to that, Valentina worked as a news reporter and host for Telemundo Atlanta (WKTB) for more than two years.
Born in Bogotá, Colombia, and raised in Atlanta, Valentina graduated from Kennesaw State University in Georgia with a bachelor's degree in Journalism and Emerging Media and a concentration in Marketing. She is a two-time Emmy Award winner and has also been recognized with a Telly Award for outstanding broadcast and digital content.
When Valentina is not covering the news, she loves to stay active and enjoy the outdoors. She enjoys traveling and exploring different places and cultures around the world, working out, playing sports, and dancing. She also loves spending time with her family, playing with dogs, and discovering great food and desserts.
