Tejal Wakchoure is a visuals producer with the NBC National team. She investigates data stories and creates graphics across all NBCU Local and Telemundo markets.
Before joining NBC, Wakchoure worked for The Baltimore Banner. Her team at The Banner supported the data pipeline for a Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative series on Baltimore's overdose crisis with The New York Times. She served on the judging panel for the 2024 IRE Awards.
Wakchoure studied data journalism at Columbia University and news analysis at MIT. She majored in computer science at BITS Pilani, India. Wakchoure is based in New York.
