Rudy Chinchilla is a bilingual Digital Content Producer at NBC10 and Telemundo62 and produces content for both websites.
Chinchilla joined the team in 2018 and has covered a variety of stories, including the nationwide shortage of childhood cancer drugs and the closure of one of Philadelphia’s largest hospitals.
Prior to joining NBC10 and Telemundo62, Chinchilla worked at NBC4 in Los Angeles, where he helped to cover one of the largest fires in modern California history, as well as the 2017 mass shooting at the Route 91 Harvest music festival in Las Vegas.
Chinchilla graduated with a journalism degree from California State University, Fullerton, in 2016.
He was raised in Southern California and lived in Guatemala for a period of time as a child before returning and later relocating to Philadelphia.
