John Clark is an Emmy-winning broadcaster and sports reporter for NBC Sports Philadelphia. John can be seen Sunday through Thursday on NBC10 News at 4 PM, 5 PM, 6 PM, and 11 PM, covering all the latest in Philly sports.
John joined NBC10 in 2014 after spending 13 years with the station earlier in his career. He previously worked as a sports anchor and reporter at WPTV (NBC) in West Palm Beach, Florida, and at WMGM in Atlantic City.
Over the past two decades, John has reported from nearly every Eagles game—home and away—and covered the team’s Super Bowl appearances, including their two championship wins and the parades that followed. His coverage also includes the Phillies' World Series championship and parade, the 2010 Stanley Cup Final with the Flyers, numerous Sixers playoff runs, the NFL Draft, and major golf events hosted in Philadelphia.
A native of Wallingford, Pennsylvania, and a graduate of Strath Haven High School, John grew up imitating legendary Phillies broadcaster Harry Kalas. He studied at Temple University, where he interned with WB17, Fox 29, and Temple’s Channel 54.
John has been nominated for several Emmys and received a Mid-Atlantic Emmy in 2004 for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Sports Reporting. He has twice been named Pennsylvania Sportscaster of the Year by the National Sports Media Association in the past five years.
Clark is an active volunteer and supporter for the Special Olympics and has been passionate about the program since his brother began competing.
