Jon Bon Jovi will finally play that free show Wednesday.

When the Philadelphia Soul won the 2008 Arena Bowl, owner Jon Bon Jovi made a promise to the City of Brotherly Love. He and his band buddies would put on a free concert.

Ever since fans had been "Living on Prayer" hoping for the free show.

Well, nearly two years later there might be no more Soul, as the defending champs of the still-not-back-in-action Arena Football League don’t seem to be part of the AFL’s future. But, Soul owner JBJ is keeping his word to Philadelphians -- sort of.

Bon Jovi is playing a free show but with a catch.

Instead of some huge outdoor extravaganza, Bon Jovi will play an intimate free show (sandwiched between two ticketed arena shows on Tuesday and Wednesday nights) for about 500 fans at the Wachovia Center on Wednesday at 5 p.m.

If you want to get your New Jersey on in person you are out of luck -- no more passes to the show were available as of Tuesday night. But, radio station WMMR is bringing the entire show to the people.

MMR will broadcast the entire plugged-in Bon Jovi rock out commercial free. Tune into 93.3 on the radio dial or listen live online to hear the show.
