Finally! Monday will be in the low to mid-70s and drier after the cold and rain of the weekend — so you may be able to get some sun in after all. First Alert Meteorologist Steve Sosna reports.
Memorial Day weekend, the unofficial start to summer, brought plenty of rain, but clearing is expected -- even if clouds hang around -- in time for Memorial Day remembrances.
The rain that brought flood threats and dangerous rip currents to the Jersey Shore and Delaware beaches should move out by Sunday night, giving way to a dry Monday.
The rip current threat will remain in coastal areas, but the risk will drop down to moderate.
Meanwhile, skies will be partly cloudy, but temperatures will rise into the mid-70 degrees for most places. However, they'll only peak in the upper-60s down the Shore.

After Monday, temperatures will continue to steadily rise, reaching the upper-70 degrees Tuesday and Wednesday and the low-80s for the rest of the work week.
