Hurricane Dorian Batters Coastal Carolina

South and North Carolina officials have urged residents to take their warnings seriously and evacuate barrier islands as Hurricane Dorian lashes the coast. They have already experienced strong winds and downpours, plus several tornado warnings and at least one apparent twister.
