Sue Paterno Was NOT Banned From Using PSU's Pool

NBC's Peter Alexander tweets that according to Penn State, "the indoor pool was closed for all public swimming today."

Joe Paterno's wife, Sue, might have been told she couldn't swim at Penn State's campus pool on Wednesday, but only because the pool was closed to the public, according to NBC's Peter Alexander.

Earlier in the day, a source close to the Paterno family told a reporter at The Patriot-News that "Sue Paterno was told to leave a Penn State campus pool where she normally works out."

Alexander send out this tweet Wednesday evening:

Paterno's wife comes to campus every day to swim, according to the story.

Paterno, 84, was fired earlier this month after the child abuse sex scandal broke. A Grand Jury report says former assistant coach Jerry Sandusky abused eight boys. A ninth alleged victim reportedly came forward.

And just yesterday, The Patriot-News reported that Child Youth Services is investigating two new allegations against Sandusky by children. It appears one of those allegations was made by a Sandusky family member.
