Game Changers: The Moyers Help Kids Mourn at Camp Erin

The loss of a parent can be devastating for a child’s development. They may not understand that it is okay to mourn and honor their loss. That’s where Camp Erin steps in. Started by Karen and Jamie Moyer when they lived in Seattle, the camp gets its name from Erin Metcalf, a teen who never wanted to see a child suffer. After Metcalf lost a battle with cancer, the Moyers started the camp through their foundation. It’s the Moyer’s goal to have a Camp Erin in every MLB town. You can help make that happen by learning more about the organization and making a donation.
