I've been in sports broadcasting for 25 years and, by far, the most memorable game I ever covered happened on May 4, 2000, when I covered the Flyers for CSNPhilly.
The Flyers' 2-1, five-overtime win in Pittsburgh.
Here are some of my top memories from that game:
• Because of NHL rules, no players are allowed to be interviewed between overtime periods, so I interviewed assistant coach Mike Stothers five different times.
• I was located in the hallway outside the Flyers' cramped locker room and between OT periods the door would swing open, where I saw IV's being administered, pizza boxes being passed around and the guys washing it down with Pedialyte.
• Many people forget that the Flyers and Penguins played a triple-overtime game just two days before the epic 92-minute marathon.

• Players could barely lift their legs to get over the boards and hit the ice.
• I will never forget Keith Primeau's wicked wrister past Ron Tugnutt to end the madness. I have no idea what time it was when we were doing the Postgame Show, but I remember it didn't last very long. Michael Barkann sent it to me for a live player interview.
Longtime media czar, Zach Hill, brought out Chris Therien and "Bundy" could barely stand. I asked him one question and I remember thinking to myself, this guy looks like he's going to pass out, so I wrapped up the interview after one question and sent it back to Philadelphia.
• One last thing, as the game was going from one overtime to the next, I was starving and remembered the cutoff time to order room service at the team hotel. I made the call between intermissions and had a burger and a few pops waiting for me in my room to properly end the most memorable game I have ever covered.
