I think it's safe to say Philadelphia fans liked what they saw out of Carson Wentz in his first series as the quarterback of the Eagles.
It was mostly short passes and handoffs that moved the Birds down the field early against the Cleveland Browns in the first quarter. But then Wentz threw an absolute beauty of a pass over the shoulder of Jordan Matthews in the endzone to put the Eagles up 7-0 early.
Matthews and Wentz showed off a nice little handshake celebration as well. It started with a fake-jump and ended with a city falling in love.
The FIRST TD pass of @CJ_Wentz's NFL career...
