Joel Embiid will be missed by his teammates while he has surgery and recovers but they're showing their support for the big man and definitely keeping him close to their hearts.
Many of his teammates spoke about his absence at shootaround today.
T.J. McConnell specifically is wearing Embiid on his chest.
The Sixers' backup point guard was rocking a lovely Embiid t-shirt today down in Atlanta remeniscent of that 90s-era Sixers logo.

Brett Brown has faith that the rest of the team will step up in Jojo's absence.

"We've got to be perfect."
At least TJ looks the part.
