Markelle Fultz, the first overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft, threw out the first pitch prior to today's Phillies game against the Atlanta Braves at Citizens Bank Park.
Fultz delivered a pretty good pitch to the Phanatic.
He got a little sampling of what a Philly fan welcome is really all about. He spoke briefly before the game and was asked about hearing "Trust the Process" chants at the ball park.
"You can be in McDonalds, you can be walking down the street, you'll hear that," Fultz said.
Markelle has been making the rounds in Philadelphia over the last week or so. He made a guest appearance at the Sixers basketball camp last week and says he's "real healthy" and gauranteed the Sixers will make the playoffs this season.
