Today's Lineup: Jimmy Paredes in RF, Batting 5th

Phillies manager Pete Mackanin has decided to go back to a traditional lineup for the team's series finale against the Washington Nationals on Sunday afternoon.

In Saturday's 8-0 loss to the Nationals, Mackanin hit starting pitcher Aaron Nola eighth and rightfielder Peter Bourjos ninth, an experiement he employed for a few weeks.

Now, Mackanin has the starting pitcher — Adam Morgan (1-5, 6.70) — in the nine-hole and a position player eighth — second baseman Cesar Hernandez.

Saturday's lineup appeared to be because Mackanin decided to give Bourjous a rare start after the outfielder's defense proved not enough to warrant a prominent role anymore.

On Sunday, Jimmy Paredes takes over in right field and will bat fifth behind first baseman Tommy Joseph.

Paredes, who the Phillies claimed off waivers on June 1 from Toronto, is just 4 for 20 in nine games with the Phillies with two home runs and six RBIs.

Overall, Paredes is hitting .229 in 16 at-bats in 2016.

Here is the Phillies' full lineup:
