Downtown Wilmington Transforming Into Tennis Haven for Kids

City officials and the U.S. Professional Tennis Association are teaming up for “Tennis in the Streets” in Wilmington, offering free tennis lessons to hundreds of kids from local schools. The event at Rodney Square includes more than 70 volunteers, including 30 tennis professionals. The program will follow up with kids who show exceptional talent and offer them scholarships to local tennis programs.
