2026 will be a busy time for Philly with 6 World Cup matches, America's 250th birthday and more

2026 is shaping up to be a busy year in Philadelphia. The Lincoln Financial Field will host six games in the 2026 FIFA World Cup, America will be celebrating its 250th birthday on July 4, there will be the MLB All Star game and the FIFA Fan Festival. All of this is expected to draw over half a million people to Philly. NBC10’s Tim Furlong has more on what all this means for the city.
