Timelapse: Watch 40 Inches of Snowfall in 40 Seconds

Wayne Bennett, a teacher at James Rumsey Technical Institute in Martinsburg, WV, set up a camera outside his home timed to take one photo every two seconds beginning at noon Friday, Jan. 22, 2016. The 40-second time-lapse video shows 40 inches of snow piling up in 27 hours.
