Turtle Flies American Airlines

A rare hawkbill sea turtle injured by wild dogs while nesting in the Virgin Islands has been airlifted to Florida for treatment. Sandy, a 170-pound female turtle, arrived Tuesday night at Miami airport on a free, two hour flight courtesy of American Airlines.
