“The Skin I Live In”

Writer-director Pedro Almodovar and actor Antonio Banderas are reunited in this film about plastic surgeon whose wife is burned in a car crash, inspiring him to dedicate his life to develop a synthetic skin that can feel, but be harmed—and he will go to any lengths to test it. Opens Oct. 14.
