Government Shutdown Enters 12th Day as Trump Holds Out for Border Wall

Around 800,000 federal employees are homebound or working without pay for the 12th day as President Donald Trump holds out for funding for a border wall between the U.S. and Mexico. Trump has invited top Republicans and Democrats to the White House for a “briefing,” one day before Congressional turnover gives Democrats control of the House.
