Gingrich Unveils $2.50 Gas Plan Ahead of Super Tuesday

GOP candidate Newt Gingrich outlined a new $2.50-a-gallon gas plan in his latest campaign ad Friday—the last day he'll campaign in Georgia before the state's primary. His plan would lower gas prices by “increasing domestic production, opening up off-shore drilling, building the Keystone Pipeline, and cutting red-tape regulation,” the ad said. Gingrich, who has only won one primary so far, is making every effort to stand out leading to next week’s Super Tuesday vote in the Peach State. He made it clear that he has to win Georgia, where he represented the 6th congressional district for 20 years, “to be credible in the race,” The New York Times reported.
