Vet Returns Home. Fights for Asylum for Iraqi Brother in Arms

For the past two years, veteran Chase Millsap has been fighting to gain asylum for the brother in arms he simply calls The Captain. In Iraq, Millsap worked with the Captain, who fought alongside Americans and later fled to Turkey after death threats to his family. Millsap’s organization, Ronin Refugee Project, is working to get him to safety. “You are my family. You are my brother,” said the Captain to Millsap recently. “You and the other group of Marines are really gentlemen,” he said before his voice began to break.
