Jeff Sessions Resigns From Senate

Shortly after the Senate voted to approve Alabama Senator Jeff Sessions as the next U.S. Attorney General, he delivered his farewell address on the chamber floor. He thanked his peers and President Trump for their confidence in allowing him to lead the Department of Justice. Sessions also tendered his resignation as Alabama’s senator.
