Bob Costas Defends Talking Politics in Sports Coverage

Costas said on “Late Night” that some viewers of his programs have reacted negatively to his discussion of hot-button issues surrounding sports. However, Costas argues that he wouldn’t be doing his job if he didn’t bring up politics involved in his coverage.
