Your News, Your Video: Wall Words

Take a look! This is Mr. Masiello’s class at Cab Calloway school of the arts in Wilmington. That’s who they are. Now just what are they doing? The sixth graders have created a song and dance — to remember vocabulary words. Each hand motion helps them remember the meaning of the word. And the song works! Mr. Masiello says he hears from students who tell him they still use the song to remember those big vocabulary words in college.
