Pickup Truck Driver Dies in Big Rig Collision Along Montgomery County Road That Leaves 2 Hurt

a man died after a pickup truck collided with a tractor-trailer early Wednesday morning near Valley Forge & Potshot roads in Worcester Township, Pennsylvania.

A pickup truck driver died in a collision with a tractor-trailer along a Montgomery county roadway early Wednesday.

The wreck closed Valley Forge Road near Potshop Road in Worcester Township shortly before 6 a.m. Wednesday.

The wreck left the pickup driver dead, inside his badly-damaged vehicle. The wreck also left two other people hospitalized, said county dispatchers.

There was visible windshield damage to the “Core Mark” big rig as well.

Pennsylvania State Police didn’t immediately identify anyone involved in the crash pending family notification.

Investigators worked through the morning to figure out what led to the deadly incident. Expect traffic delays in the area.
