Women Organized Against Rape to Honor Philadelphia Police Detective

The Philadelphia women’s group is holding its annual Bridge of Courage awards dinner and silent auction, 5:30-8 p.m., Tuesday, April 11, as part of Sexual Assault Awareness Month. At the event, longtime Philadelphia Special Victims Unit Capt. John Darby is one of three award recipients, along with Loraine Ballard Morrill, an executive at iHeart Radio in Philadelphia and Ronnie Polaneczky, a columnist at the Philadelphia Daily News.
