Women firefighters celebrated by the Philadelphia Fire Department for their dedication and accomplishments

A group of women in Philadelphia put their lives on the line every single day serving their communities by fighting fires. These ladies were honored at the first annual honoring the heroines of the Philadelphia Fire Department. The event shed light on the glass ceilings many of the women had to break and highlighting the ones who came before them. NBC10’s Yukare Nakayama recaps the special ceremony.
