An elderly woman’s husband did all the right things — and that’s what ultimately saved his wife’s life when fire consumed their home Thursday morning, July 29, 2010. Fire Commissioner Lloyd Ayers said rescuers thought the woman was dead, but kept working on her and at Temple Hospital, she was revived.
