Woman buys N.C. Wyeth painting for $4 at a thrift store, becomes nearly $200,000 richer

A decades old art mystery with ties to the Philadelphia area has now been solved. The woman who helped solve the mystery is now nearly $200,000 richer after buying a painting for $4 from a thrift shop. She recently learned that it was an original N.C. Wyeth piece that was painted in Chadds Ford. NBC10’s Delaware bureau reporter Tim Furlong has more on the artist and his local ties.
