With Murders on Rise in Philly, Police Hope Barber Shop Project Will Reduce Crime

A barber shop is the epicenter of community policing in West Philadelphia. Once a month officers and community members meet to discuss troubles in the neighborhood and what can be done to address the problems. Organizers hope that the monthly meetups will lead to a decrease in crime.
