Video of 88-Year-Old Woman Being Rescued From Cruise Ship

This video from the U.S. Coast Guard. The crew medevaced an 88-year-old woman Sunday after she fell down a stairwell on the 570-foot cruise ship she was aboard. That ship was 50 miles east of Barnegat Light. The Coast Guard got the call at 9:15 p.m. from a crewmember aboard the cruise ship Veendam, reporting the woman had suffered a head injury. A rescue helicopter crew from Coast Guard Air Station Atlantic City, N.J., arrived on scene and transported the woman to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City were she was transferred to awaiting medical personnel.
