Video: Lady Mary Found on Ocean Floor

Coast Guard video shows the red hull of the Lady Mary on the bottom of the ocean off the coast of New Jersey. The sunken scallop boat was found 211-feet below water last week. The video, taken by a remote-operated vehicle, starts with a ghostly image of the Lady Mary sitting mostly upright. It was shown Wednesday at an investigation into the March 24 accident, which claimed six lives. The day before, authorities heard from the sole survivor, Jose Luis Arias, about the moments before he abandoned ship. Arias said the vessel was listing 30 degrees, 12-foot waves were crashing against the hull and the captain seemed unable to control the vessel. Testimony also revealed the captain and one crewman had used marijuana at some point before the accident.
