Toddlers Found Wandering Alone in South Philly

Police have not yet revealed how the kids got outside by themselves in the first place

Police found two toddlers wandering the streets of South Philadelphia. While the children are safe, police are searching for their parents to determine how the kids were left alone in the first place.

Two toddlers were reunited with their parents after investigators say they were found wandering in South Philadelphia Wednesday morning.

A 2-year-old girl and her 3-year-old brother were found walking alone at Broad and Passyunk at 5:47 a.m. They were both taken to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia where they were evaluated. Investigators say they are both OK.

The toddlers were taken to the Special Victim’s Unit. They stayed there for a few hours before police say their parents came to pick them up.

Police have not yet revealed how the kids got outside by themselves in the first place and whether the parents will be charged.
