T-Shirt Worn by Acting Top Cop 25 Years Ago Prompts Call for Her Resignation

While speaking at a hearing on racist Facebook posts from Philadelphia police officers, Acting Commissioner Christine M. Coulter apologized for a shirt she wore 25 years ago that some believe was a reference to the 1991 beating of Rodney King by LAPD officers. The shirt also prompted a city councilwoman to call for Coulter’s resignation.
