Suspect in Pennypack Trail slashings linked to Fairmount Park rapes, police say

A man accused of slashing people with a knife on the Pennypack Park Trail is now linked to a series of rapes and a murder at Philly’s Fairmount Park in 2003, investigators revealed on Tuesday. Philadelphia Police and District Attorney Larry Krasner provided new details during an afternoon press conference.
