Authorities say a man placed a Bluetooth skimming device at an ATM at a Levittown American Heritage Credit Union to steal customers card information. As of now there have been no reports of money stolen. Police ask that if anyone knows this man or has seen him to contact them as finding him could lead to breaking up a bigger operation. Police in one Bucks County town hope the public helps them identify a man they say placed a skimming device on a credit union's ATM. Authorities want to know if the skimming is connected to a larger ring.
On Saturday, May 4, 2024, Bristol Township police shared a new image of a person they say installed a skimming device at the American Heritage Credit Union on Levittown Parkway on Saturday, April 27.
"OMG Selfie," police said with an emoji on social media:
"Feeling cute, might be identified for installing a card skimmer later! Here is a better view of the gentleman from our request to ID a few days back! If you recognize this man, please contact us!"

Police in Bristol Township first alerted the community of the skimming situation last week in an Instagram post.

"If anyone can help us ID this subject who appears to not realize that there was a camera right in front of him, it would be much appreciated," police wrote. "It's estimated that the device skimmed numerous debit cards."
The device wasn't discovered until Monday, April 29, police said.
"Once they install it it could gather the information, it could work off of Bluetooth, they could come back a number of different times to retrieve the information of the customers," Bristol Township Police Sgt. Jason Mancuso.
Police didn't immediately get any reports of money missing from credit union customers' accounts.
American Credit Union spokesperson Mitchell Kay said they are working with police to find the skimming suspect.
Police asked anyone who recognizes the skimming suspect to contact them.
Nabbing this one guy could lead to more would-be crooks.
"It could be going on up and down the East Coast," Mancuso said. "Nationally there are problems all around."
