Sex Assault Near Police Headquarters

A man sexually assaulted a woman at the SEPTA subway stop at 8th and Race Sunday night, steps away from police headquarters. The attacker ran from the scene, leaving his pants and wallet behind, investigators say. Inside the wallet were cards identifying the man so police know who they’re looking for. The victim was treated at a local hospital. Detectives expect to release a sketch of the attacker later today.
