SEPTA Suspends Service on Wilmington-Newark Regional Rail Line

Amtrak overhead line issues impact SEPTA service to and from Delaware

Service suspended service Wednesday morning on the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority's Wilmington-Newark Regional Rail Line.

SEPTA said there were problems with Amtrak's overhead wire.

Trains 216 and 220 were the only ones operating to Philadelphia.

Regular service resumed around 8 a.m.

Flames broke out around 3 a.m. at the Thrift Zone 2 store at 4445 Frankford Avenue in the Frankford neighborhood.
