SEPTA receives $317 million from Biden's infrastructure law to add new railcars on Market-Frankford line

SEPTA was awarded millions of dollars in an effort to make rider’s commutes safer and more comfortable. This money will go towards new rail cars for the heavily traveled Market-Frankford line. SEPTA leaders say they need about 96 cars to maintain ridership levels, but are currently only operating with 85.
