SEPTA Bus Driver Attacked in North Philly

Police are looking for two men who punched a SEPTA bus driver at Broad and Lehigh streets in North Philadelphia Friday morning.

Philadelphia police are searching for two men they say punched a transit bus driver in the face.

Police say the men attacked the Route 54 driver around 1:30 a.m. Friday at Broad Street and Lehigh Avenue in the North Philly.

The driver was taken to Temple University Hospital. His condition was not immediately available.

There were no cameras on the bus.

It was the second attack on a SEPTA bus driver this week.

Police said a man assaulted a driver Wednesday at 33rd Street and Ridge Avenue in the city's Strawberry Mansion section.

An arrest was made in that case.
