Two children and three adults are hospitalized after a school bus and a car collided in Juniata Park on Thursday. NBC10’s Katy Zachry reports.

Two children and three adults were hospitalized Thursday afternoon after a school bus accident in the Juniata Park section of Philadelphia.

The crash happened just after 4 p.m. at G and Ramona Streets. The Atlantic Express bus was from Mastery Charter School at Clymer Elementary.

Police confirm to NBC10 that the two men in the car have extensive fractures. The men, ages 44 and 45, are in critical condition.

Police say the two kids on the bus were wearing seat belts and were taken to the hospital to be checked out, along with the bus driver. Those two kids were the only children on the bus.

Witnesses tell NBC10 that the car approached the intersection and crossed over the double yellow line, slamming into the school bus.
