Proposed Bill Would Allow Legal Drinking on the AC Boardwalk

Booze on the boardwalk? It’s currently illegal to drink alcohol on Atlantic City’s iconic boardwalk. But now there’s a push to change that. A bill introduced in the state senate would allow people 21 or older to have alcoholic beverages in open containers in parts of the resort’s tourism district, including sections of the boardwalk and beach.
