Post Operation Opioid Prescription Guidelines

The Philadelphia Department of Health says surgeons over-prescribe opioids, so they have issued voluntary guidelines to lower the rate. The Health Commissioner says that if all Philadelphia surgeons follow them, opioid prescriptions would fall 80%.
