NJ Transportation Officials to Outline Plans for Pope Visit

The Delaware River Authority is scheduled to give a detailed briefing Thursday on the closing of the Ben Franklin Bridge for Pope Francis’ visit to Philadelphia in September. NBC10’s Monique Braxton has details on what we can expect.

Pope Francis' visit to New York and Philadelphia next month will have an impact on traffic in New Jersey.

New Jersey Transportation Commissioner Jamie Fox and other officials will outline plans on Thursday.

New Jersey Transit will make adjustments.

Plans also call for shutting down the Ben Franklin Bridge to vehicular traffic. However, pedestrians will be permitted to walk across the bridge to Philadelphia.
