Police Department Attack Was “Perfect Storm”

NBC10 gets answers about a fire extinguisher attack on three Atlantic City police officers. 29-year-old Thomas McHugh, of Drexel Hill, is accused of spraying the officers in the face with the fire extinguisher minutes after being released from police custody on April 2. The discharge sent 16 people to the hospital and prompted an evacuation of the building. NBC10 Jersey Shore Bureau reporter Ted Greenberg finds out how the man allegedly managed to get into two restricted areas of the headquarters of the resort’s police and fire departments.
